Mid-Winter Break 2011
What I did the week I was off:

Found an awesome deli:
I was starving and we wanted a sandwich...so we yelped and found the craziest Italian butcher and sandwich maker at Graham Avenue Meats and Deli. When a place has 96 reviews and an average of 5 stars, it has to be good.
Dealt with the weather:
Oh yeah....it snowed one night!

Napped with the bunny:

Convinced the hubbs to finally put the lights up:

A couple of months ago, we went to Fatty Cue for dinner. There was a wait, so we were getting ready to leave, our waiter gave us 2 complimentary drink cards.
We have a very yummy stone julep, which is a mint julep with apricot juice. Mmmmmmm.
We went then walked over to Traif for dinner. I was so overwhelmed by the deliciousness of the food, that I forgot to take pictures. We had sweetbreads, duck confit, tuna tartar, short rib sliders and crab meat on eggplant.

I came home exhausted and Rob also had a busy day, so we decided to go out for 'soup dumplings.' Soup dumplings have to be one of my favorite things to eat. It's a dumpling that has pork or crab meat and a broth inside of it.
Mmmmm.
I always get my own order.

The hubbs and I decided to take the B62 to Fette Sau, the B43 came so we hopped on that instead. Once we got to the BQE, we realized we were headed in the wrong direction so we hopped off. To our pleasant surprise we came upon the 123rd annual 'Festival of Giglio.' I'm sure that 123 years ago they didn't have carnival rides and 'Dunk the Bloke', but it's great to see that the festival is still around.
