Weekend in the City- September 16, 2011
We had the pleasure of working the Steuben Day Festival at Central Park this weekend. We served beer, stood of 8 hours, ate free sausages and drank beer. I was exhausted at the end of the night!

I took his pic, because I thought he was quite a character.
Apparently, he's on Whisker Wars.

Weekend in NYC - September 9, 2011
We had some good, really good local eats this weekend in our neighborhood.
Calyer in Greenpoint which is owned by the same people that own Anella. The drink menu needs to be worked on, but the food was great. We had an heirloom tomato salad and a steak.
Isa in Williamsburg is owned by the same people that own Freeman's Alley in the city. Food was soooo good and it's bring your own until they get their liquor license, so that makes it even better. We had bison tartar, head on shrimp and the rib-eye steak.

While we were in Cape Cod, we were given a sensitive plant. Rob almost killed it, so I threw it on the deck to see what would happen. It came back with a vengeance and then I almost killed it during the hurricane. I forgot to water it for like six days. It lost most of it's leaves, but it still bloomed.
